Once a CBD product is applied on the skin, CBD does its job by stimulating the CB2 receptors in the skin. Many types of skin cells - keratinocytes, melanocytes and fibroblasts - have CB2 receptors. These will allow CBD to control the skin’s immune response and act directly on the targeted area during the application.

CBD topical application doesn’t penetrate deep enough to reach the bloodstream unlike other CBD methods but it does provide a localized effect because it becomes absorbed through the pores.

The CBD in bath bombs works with the skin's endocannabinoid system to help soothe skin inflammation and provide targeted skincare needs. Submerging yourself in CBD-infused warm water allows its skin-repairing properties to rapidly penetrate into your skin throughout the entire body, resulting in an ultra-relaxing soak.

CBD isn't just a cannabinoid known for its physical soothing qualities; the warmth of bathing can also enhance cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary health, alongside promoting mental relaxation and overall well-being.

CBD bath bombs are generally safe for everyone because the CBD is not intended to be ingested. However, it's essential to supervise very young children during their baths to prevent accidental ingestion of water or bath bomb residue.

Before your tiny tots embark on a CBD bath adventure, we also recommend that you consult with your pediatrician, especially if there are ongoing skin issues that could potentially be aggravated by the CBD or any ingredients in the bath bomb.

Although both derive from the same plant, CBD oil's potential go well beyond the scope of regular hemp seed oil. Hemp oil is made from hemp seeds, meaning there is little to no CBD content. It has none of the same benefits of hemp-derived CBD oil.

To enjoy the full benefits of the hemp plant in your CBD products, you must look for ingredients like “cannabidiol” or “Cannabidiol Hemp Extract" as opposed to "hemp oil” or “hemp seed oil."
